The HEAVENDROPt Bookmark is made in the USA of repurposed US military parachute material. The US military parachute material is purchased from the government once the parachutes are inspected and deemed no longer safe to fly by the military. Once the parachute material is decommissioned, we are able to have workers separate the parts and then hand sew the parachute drawstring purses.
The Evergreen Cookbook is published by our parent organization, Evergreen Life Services. Evergreen provides support services to people with intellectual disabilities and physical disabilities. The illustrations in this book are hand drawn by some of the wonderful artists with disabilities that receive services through Evergreen. The recipes are provided by staff and friends of Evergreen. Some of the recipes are the ones that our staff and community home residents make in their homes.
The HEAVENDROPt bookmark and Evergreen cookbook can be purchased as a set or you can purchase the bookmark separately.
Each handmade bookmark and cookbook supports our mission to provide meaningful jobs to people with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities and veterans with disabilities. While we don’t disclose the disabilities of any individual worker, some include Down syndrome, Fragile X, Autism, blindness/visual impairment, PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury and many others.
Each purchase and donation that you make enables people with disabilities to have a job. To purchase in bulk for retail stores or wholesale, please contact Robert Groover.
